Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy, born 25th November, 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actress and musician who has been recognized for her significant contributions to American television. The most famous of her works are her amazing performance on American television programs like Law & Order (where she captivated viewers for three season as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy showcased her talents in independent films including Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy launched her career as an actress in Dead Ringers with her sister. Her Broadway debut was in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. In RoboCop 3 in 1993 she played the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. The big break for her was later in the year, when she joined the cast of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. She mesmerized audiences in this part for three seasons, until the end of 1996 when she left. Mary Louise Parker.......................Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964, height 5' 7 1/2" (1,71 m)) is an American actress best known for her current lead role on Showtime's television series Weeds portraying Nancy Botwin for which she has received several nominations and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2006. Parker is a regular in a number of series and films, among them RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys from the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. As a result of these roles she won the Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker is also the recipient of the 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
