Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able to act, direct, produce, write plays teaching, as well as be the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, and her mother, is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her working in rehearsals for plays. She appeared in many commercials in her early years. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order to pursue her acting. In the decade that followed, she eventually made the move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They were wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows during an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo's sex-based romance with Lauren was featured in CNN's top TV Couples ever and named Top TV Couple 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's social media following grew after the success of her television show.
