 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actress. In AT&T commercials on television she played the role as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in 2020. She also was a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being cast as the character in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub, was a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were both two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. At five years of age she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly however she dropped out after her sophomore year. Then, she earned an GED, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
